The Saudi Ministry has issued a health advisory regarding the policy directive of Hajj 2025. People suffering from infectious diseases or heart, kidney, liver, or lung diseases will not be permitted to perform Hajj. Cancer patients and people with dementia have also been prohibited from performing Hajj 2025, as these people are unable to face severe weather conditions, and only healthy and energetic individuals can perform Hajj easily.
Moreover, children less than 12 years of age and pregnant women are also not allowed to perform Hajj.
Vaccinations Mandatory for Hajj 2025
Following Vaccines are mandatory for the Hajj 2025
- Neisseria meningitis vaccine,
- SARS-CoVs-2 Corona (Covid-19),
- Seasonal Influenza Vaccine,
- Poliomyelitis [sic] vaccination
All these instructions have been given to ensure the health and safety of all the pilgrims, as Hajj 2025 will also come in June 2025, and pilgrims will have to face severe weather conditions.
