Hajj 2024 Vs Hajj 2025
The Quota of the Hajj
The Quota of Hajj 2025 is the same as Hajj 2024, which is one Lakh 79 Thousand and two hundred, 179,210. This Quota is divided into 50% Private Hajj and 50% Government Hajj.
The Price of Hajj 2025
The price of Hajj 2024 was 10 Lakh 75 Thousand, whereas there are two prices offered to Pilgrims in Hajj 2025. One is 10 Lakh 75 Thousand, and the other price is 11 Lakh 75 Thousand for a short package.
The long package is 40-42 days, and the price for this package is 10 Lakh 75 Thousand, while the short package is 20-22 days, and the price is 11 Lakh 75 Thousand.
Hajj Permission to the Welfare Staff
In Hajj 2024, it was not permitted for the Hajj welfare staff and Medical Staff to perform Hajj during their duty as Muawanin or Khadmin-e-Hajj, but for Hajj 2025, permission has been granted, and they can perform Hajj as well.
Quota of Sponsorship
In Hajj 2024, the sponsorship quota for Government Hajj was 25000, and for Private Hajj, it was 27,000. In Hajj 2025, the Quota for Sponsorship is 5000, and for Private Hajj, it is 30,000.
If you are wondering, “What is Private Sponsorship?” it is the type of money you send from abroad to a private tour operator. Meanwhile, in the government scheme this year, the Quota is very low, so if you want to apply for Hajj in Government Hajj, keep an eye on the news updates and apply as soon as possible.
Age Limit
There was no age limit for Hajj 2024, but for Hajj 2025, an age limit has been set by the Saudi Hajj ministry, and children below the age of 12 are not allowed to perform Hajj.
Hajj Nazim
There was no concept of Hajj Nazim previously, but this year it has been introduced. This individual will be responsible for the guidance and help of 100 people under his supervision. He will be officially responsible for helping out these 100 people, and all the details of these people will be given to him so he can efficiently manage his tasks.
Previously, the same task was performed by Khadmin-e-Hajj, but they were not allocated any particular set of people, and they used to help and Guide random people. All these steps have been taken to avoid many mishaps, casualties and mismanagement as it leads to chaotic situations.
Hardship Quota
The hardship of Hajj 2024 was 500, but now it has been increased to 1000. Hardship Quota is when a family member decides to perform Hajj. In this case, an email is sent to the Hajj Ministry, and you will be granted permission. After that, you will submit fees for that family member. It will happen a few days prior to the flight schedule.
Maktab
In Sponsorship Hajj 2024, the Maktab C option was given, but in Hajj 2025, only Maktab D will be provided for both Sponsorship and Government Hajj.
Health Insurance
Previously, health insurance was provided only to the Government Scheme Hajj Package, and there was no health insurance for Private Hajj. But this year, both private and government Hajj Scheme pilgrims will have health insurance.
In case of the death of the Pilgrim, 20 Lakh will be given, and in case of any injury of the Pilgrim, 10 lakh will be provided.
