Umrah Vaccine Requirements 2025
The Government of Pakistan released an official letter regarding the polio vaccine. It was about the instructions given by the GACA (General Authority of Civil Aviation) Civil Authority in Saudi Arabia about the polio vaccine.
According to that letter, it is necessary to have polio drops 28 days before travelling. If you have not taken the polio vaccine, you can be deported. Another important part of this news is that it is a must for all those people who have flights after Feb 1st, 2025.
If you have a flight before Feb 1st, you can travel without this vaccine, but after Feb 1st, it is a must for all the people flying for Umrah and Hajj.
This vaccine is a requirement for all types of visas for Saudi Arabia. You must have taken the polio vaccination 4 weeks prior to travelling.
How to get the polio vaccine
You can get the polio vaccine from any hospital in Pakistan. It is also available for anyone living in any tehsil or district. Find a government hospital and tell them you need a polio vaccine.
2- Take your National Identity Card when you are going for the vaccination, as the authorities put your data in the online Nadra database by your ID card number.
It is very easy, and your record is updated on the Nadra site. Just like it was possible in the past to download the Corona vaccination card from the Nadra site, now you can download the Polio vaccination card from the NADRA site.
The old yellow Polio card is not valid now, and the downloaded certificate will be applicable. Your record is updated on the site 24 hours after you have taken polio drops.
How to download your Polio Certificate from the NIMS site on a Mobile Phone
There is an easy process of downloading a Polio certificate through a mobile phone. The process is explained below in easy steps:
1- Open your browser and go to the https://nims.nadra.gov.pk/nims/ website.
2- Now, the site will open, and you will see an interface like this in the image below. You will have to click on the button for Other Vaccination.
3- After clicking on this button, you will see a screen, and you will have to put all your personal details in the columns below. A CRC holder is a person who has no ID card and has a birth certificate. In the vaccine column, you will have to enter the oral polio vaccine.
In the phone column, number three is already written. You don’t have to enter zero in the beginning and directly enter the number after 3. You will have to enter a captcha, as shown in the image below. After entering this information, you will receive a confirmation code on the number you provided above.
4- You have to enter that confirmation code in the relevant column.
5- The next screen that will be displayed after verification of your information will ask about the details of your passport and nationality. Write proper spellings for your name as mentioned in the passport. After verification of this step, the payment method is the next step.
6- After selecting the payment method, whether it is Jazz Cash, Upaisa, or bank account. You will then have to pay to log into the app, and after that, you will be given a tracking number.
You can also submit the fees through EasyPaisa. There is an option there named Nadra Fees, and you will click on it to submit the fees.
