In this blog, the most commonly asked Hajj 2025 Important Questions have been answered in detail, and a few latest updates have also been stated.
The Hajj applications are being accepted, and globally thousands of people are submitting their applications on a daily basis.
Short Hajj and Long Hajj Package Price
The most asked question is if you want to perform a short Hajj ( 20-25 days), which scheme will work best for you, Private or Government Hajj Scheme.
The first thing that is vital to understand is that the short Hajj Package is expensive compared to the government Hajj Package. The most common reason is that you get flight ticket expenses; hence, after including all the expenses, the overall amount is 1 or 1.5 Lakh more than the Government Hajj Scheme.
The Government Scheme Hajj Package of 20-25 days costs around 11 lakh 75 thousand rupees, whereas if you opt for the Private Hajj Package, it costs 15 lakhs to 16 lakhs. In the Government Hajj Scheme, all the matters, such as flight schedules and vaccinations, are handled by the Ministry. Whereas in the private, your tour operator will look after all these matters.
In case you have any complaints regarding any Hajj matter, you will tell your operator, and In the government Hajj Scheme, you will ask a ministry representative to fix your problem. You can also report in the application created for Hujjaj, known as Pak Hajj App, which will also serve the purpose.
Vaccination
The most commonly asked questions about Vaccination are when you can get vaccinated and what is the last day of Vaccination.
It is important to understand that you dont need to take any medicine when you acquire a medical fitness certificate. You only have to prove that you are healthy to perform the Hajj.
For Vaccination, when your flight schedule arrives and 10 days prior to your flight, you will go to Hajj Camp and will get the Vaccination for flu and fever, Corona or Polio.
Important Points to remember here are :
1- If you use any medicine, pack those medicines properly. You can also take medicine to Hajj camp, and they can pack those medicines for you. DO NOT TAKE YOUR MEDICINES UNPACKED as at the airport they won’t let you take your medicines.
2- Always keep a doctor’s prescription with you. Let me tell you why it is important, as most people do not keep a prescription with them, and in airports, they do not let you take any medicines unless and until you have proof that the doctor has prescribed the medicines.
3- For elderly people who are above 65 years of age, the coronavirus vaccine is a must, and the Government of Pakistan has emphasized it.
The Saudi government has lifted the restriction on the Corona vaccine.
Women Going Alone on the Hajj
Women who are going alone on Hajj and do not accompany any mahram (son, father, husband) have to fill out the form by stating three women who are also performing Hajj. It is compulsory to state their phone and application number in the form.
In this regard, you can contact Alamgir Groups in Karachi. They have offices in different cities, and they assist people in forming groups.
Stay In Medina
If you have a Long Hajj Package, you will stay in Medina for 8 days, and in a Short Hajj Package, your stay in Medina will be for 3-5 days. Can they go to Medina again?
Yes, they can go to Medina again, but they will have to arrange for their transportation to Medina and back to Makkah. It is, however, important to remember here that you must not leave Makkah after the 5th and 6th, as the basic Manasik of Hajj starts after these dates.
Most of the time, the Saudi Government puts a restriction on everyone except pilgrims entering Makkah after the 5th and 6th Zilhaj, so it is advised not to leave Makkah after these dates in order to avoid any trouble. In case of any event like this, the Pakistan Hajj ministry will not be able to help you.
Passport
The good news regarding your Passport is that if your passport has expired or has to be made freshly, now the Ministry has made a special DESK dedicated to Hujjaj through which you can get your Passport within 24 hours. It is a special facility that has been created for Hujjaj only.
If you have already submitted your passport, then you can call the following numbers, and they will help out in this matter.
The numbers are given below in the image on which you call to get any assistance.
Sponsorship Scheme Hujjaj and regular Scheme Hujjaj
The two above cannot combine in one group as they have different schedules. Once again, for more understanding, the sponsorship Hajj Scheme is when you send dollars from abroad, and the regular Hajj Scheme is when you stay in Pakistan and apply for Hajj.
Refund of Hajj 2024
The most common question that is asked and the most awaited information is when people will get a refund for Hajj 2024.
The Ministry stated that they are calculating the amount that has to be returned, and it was told that it will be around one lakh.
Then, it was stated that the amount would be returned when the Saudi Portal opens in the near future. Now people are wondering if Hajj 2025 applications are in process, and they still have not received their remaining amount.
According to our observation, the process will take more than two to three months. The fact behind this is that after the drawing, the Ministry will finalize the list of Hajj applicants, and they will present that list to the Saudi Ministry, requesting to book hotels and Maktab for pilgrims. At that point in time, the Saudi Portal will open, and they will return the remaining amount to the Ministry. Hence, it will take a period of two to three months, and after that, the Ministry will pay back the remaining amount to Hajj 2024 Pilgrims.
