PIA has recently introduced a new route to facilitate Umrah pilgrims and people travelling to Saudi Arabia. The route is a PIA direct flight from Faisalabad to Jeddah, and there will be two flights in a week.
The first flight, PK763, took 170 Umrah pilgrims, and this initiative aims to facilitate the Umrah pilgrims and Pakistani working community in Saudi Arabia. It has been supported by the business community in Faisalabad.
There are plans to initiate direct flights from Quetta to Jeddah soon.
