The Hajj Permit 2024 is a document issued by the government of Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj at the holy sites. Hajj Permit 2024: Initiative by Saudi Government to enhance safety During Hajj 2024
Significant steps have been taken by the Directorate of Public Security in Saudi Arabia to enhance safety and organization during Hajj 2024. The basic aim is to focus on the provision of the best facilities for pilgrims. The Saudi government has announced strict rules and policies for the effective implementation of Hajj Permit 2024.
Areas covered by No-Permit No-Hajj
The areas that are specified as having no entry without a Hajj permit are the City of Makkah, Central Areas, Holy Sites, Haramain Train Stations, screening centers for pilgrims, and security checkpoints.
Hajj Permit 2024 is valid from June 2 to June 20, 2024.
Fines and Penalties for Violation of Hajj Regulations 2024
Anyone, including residents, visitors, or citizens of the Saudi Kingdom, found in any violation of the Hajj Regulation and not carrying the Hajj Permit will be fined 10,000 SAR (2,666 dollars).
Non-citizens will be deported to their country after they pay the fine, and they will be banned from entering Makkah for a certain period.
Public Security has notified that people who repeat the offense will have to pay double fines.
Fine for Transporters
Any individual or transporter caught transporting any of the violators would also face a fine of 50,000 SAR and imprisonment of six months. The authorities will also confiscate the vehicles of these transporters.
If the transporter is not a Saudi citizen, he will be deported to his country after serving six months of imprisonment. The fine will be doubled according to the number of transported violators.
