Saudi officials have decided that this year, Pakistani pilgrims will be allotted Maktab D. We will today tell you in detail about Maktab D facilities.
What is Maktab?
To divide the facilities in Mina, Maktabs are made. Maktabs till D are good in terms of facilities; there are more Maktabs as well, but they are not so good in terms of facilities.
Maktab is only useful during the five days of Hajj at Mina, Mazdalafa, and Arafat, and it has nothing to do with the rest of the facilities.
Beware of SCAMs by the private Hajj dealers.
Most of the time, private hajj dealers talk about Maktab, and they charge extra money for it, whereas it is only linked with Mina. The residences at Makkah and Medina are not part of it.
Pakistani Pilgrims Under Ministry of Hajj
Pakistani pilgrims who come under the Ministry of Hajj stay at Aziziyah. This year in Medinah, they have been given accommodation in Markaziyah.
Train Facility
The Saudi Hajj authorities have announced that every pilgrim can use the train.
Maktab D facilities
People who have applied under the sponsorship of the Hajj Ministry have also been allotted Maktab no. C.
Camps of Maktab no. D are in New Mina.
Coolers are installed in these camps, and mattresses are laid down in rows. There is a rush in these camps, but pilgrims must exhibit good behavior and stay patient in these camps, as it is only a matter of five days.
Washrooms are full during prayer times, so it is suggested not to wait for Azaan and perform Waduu half an hour before Azaan.
Food is prepared outside, warmed, and served in the small kitchens in the camps. The food consists of rice, meat, and vegetable curry.
Train facilities will be given to everybody coming under the Hajj Ministry from Pakistan, as they will be allotted Maktab No. D. Maktab No. D is four kilometers away from Jamrat, so pilgrims face difficulty walking. The train station is near, where pilgrims can walk to the train station to reach Jamrat and stone the shaitan, then come back to the train station and then get their block.
It is important to mention here that the time spent traveling to the train station and Jamart is equal to the time spent walking to Jamrat. There is a lot of rush on the stairs of the train station.
The facilities at Mina are well managed by the Saudi and Pakistani Hajj authorities. Moreover, for guidance and help, Hajj volunteers are also available. They help and guide the pilgrims in every possible way.
